Usually I’m a little wary of colour, or low-rendering in any form. I edge away from lineart, and my default is usually:
“Posterised brights! Sure, this’ll be easy, what’s to fear?” Everything.
Pause here for “the moment I got it into daylight and on a scanner and realised the colours were basically flourescent, there was no contrast and I’d mucked up my values.”
